Descripción : Considering that fine psychomotor skills are an area where many infants present problems and deficiencies in their development, which affects later learning processes, such as writing acquisition, the objective of this research was to diagnose the incidence of the painting technique in the development of fine psychomotor skills in children from 4 to 5 years of age at the "19 de Septiembre" Educative Unit in the Salcedo canton. The methodology applied in the development of the project had a mixed approach, through the inductive, bibliographic, and documentary methods; the instruments used in the data collection process were the interview applied to three teachers, the survey conducted with parents, and the observation form to children from 4 to 5 years old. The results showed deficiencies in the acquisition of fine motor skills, mainly in the aspects of eye-hand coordination and in the development of grasping with the digital pincer, which is a concern because they represent the basis for learning to write. Therefore, they need to be constantly stimulated dynamically and creatively in the development of their fine motor skills related to eye-hand coordination and in the development of the digital pincer through painting.

Descripción : The present research work refers to the use of music therapy as an innovative tool for strengthening motor skills in children, for this reason, the general objective has been the design of activities related to music therapy as a didactic strategy to support the development of motor coordination in children of Initial Education of the “Victoria Vásconez Cuvi” Educational Unit of the Latacunga city. For the design of this proposal, the constructivist pedagogical model has been taken as the central axis, being the one that prevails in the educational model of Ecuador. According to the analysis previously carried out, investigative methods and techniques have been used as the interview applied to teachers, obtaining as evidence the don’t use of innovative resources as music, which has not allowed children to continue strengthening motor coordination adequately. On the other hand, the don’t of innovative strategies in the teaching-learning process of students decreases the motivation to participate in each activity that is proposed. Due to the aforementioned, it is considered important and necessary to carry out dynamic elements in the educational process of children, which will be applied by teachers who will support the development of motor coordination and the use of music therapy as a pedagogical tool that will benefit the children's development.2024-03-01T00:00:00Z
