| dc.description | The place where the research was conducted in the province of Cotopaxi, Canton Pujili. Maralfalfa studied to Pasto and benefits thus obtaining a silage which is supplied at 20 and observations were the same as divided into 5 treatments which the warning only fed alfalfa, sheep remained completely housed whereby presented Leg problems by moisture inevitable. It was applied completely randomized design with different numbers of observations. Statistical tests were performed using analysis of variance and Duncan's test for which Infostat program was used. The variables evaluated were: 1 Weight Gain biweekly, 2 Power in kg daily, 3 feed conversions, and 4 mortality. Se estudió al Pasto Maralfalfa y sus beneficios realizando así un ensilaje el cual se suministró a 20 observaciones las mismas que e encontraban divididas en 5 tratamientos de los cuales el testigo se alimentó solamente con alfalfa, los ovinos se mantuvieron totalmente estabulados por lo cual se presentaron problemas en las patas por la humedad inevitable. Se aplicó el Diseño Completamente al Azar con diferente número de observaciones. Las pruebas estadísticas se realizaron mediante el análisis de varianza y el test de Duncan para los cuales se utilizó el programa Infostat.
