| Resumen : | La tecnología es una de las áreas de mayor apogeo e importancia en la actualidad, motivo por el cual, los pensum académicos de las Unidades educativas se han empeñado por incluir dichos conocimientos. De igual manera, la tecnología ha puesto diversas herramientas al servicio de la educación, con el fin de mejorar el proceso de enseñanza y lograr aprendizajes significativos; este proyecto de tesis pretende utilizar métodos de la informática en el área de Estudios Sociales y su utilización en el laboratorio de práctica docente de la Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi. Para el efecto se ha utilizado textos de la materia de tecnología educativa y de Estudios Sociales, además de una investigación de campo, con base en encuestas realizadas a estudiantes, y entrevistas a docentes de la Universidad, para determinar el nivel de conocimiento sistemático y pedagógico incorporado al uso y utilización de las TICs en el campo educativo. La incorporación de la tecnología multimedia, en un CD interactivo servirá para lograr el objetivo de incrementar la eficiencia del proceso educativo y lograr aprendizajes significativos en la enseñanza del área de Estudios Sociales, lo que incidirá positivamente en el aprendizaje de la niñez y la juventud de los centros educativos. |
| Descripción : | The objective of this project is the elaboration of an interactive CD. In the Social Studies Area for the fifth year of Basic Education and its use in the Cotopaxi Technical University’s laboratory for teaching practice. The same is focused on giving a solution to the educational problem that occurs nowadays, because there are not enough computer resources in order to get a significant learning through a student-friendly technological interface. Facing the need for innovation in the university´s education processes of teaching and learning through the TIC´s, the investigators had investigated in different libraries including the Cotopaxi’s Technical University library to find information about the use of technologies in computer centers. But this technology is not used in the social studies area; the teaching learning process of this area continues with few systematic and pedagogical methods. To support this research the investigators had used the deductive and inductive methods applying surveys to teachers and students and realizing some interviews to the Cotopaxi Technical University´s authorities; the results confirmed the existence of the problem; with this the proposal was elaborated; it will allow the creation of an interactive CD. In the social studies area to apply in the laboratory, improving the teaching learning process. |
