| dc.description | The objective of this research is to analyze the risk of insolvency of floricultural companies located in the city of Latacunga, province of Cotopaxi between the period 2012-2019 with a total of 13 companies with 8 years of continuous activity, allowing to verify the effectiveness of the model and analyze the financial situation of the companies so that the necessary corrective measures can be taken and avoid falling into possible bankruptcy. With the information obtained, it was identified that during the study the model is a functional tool that can be a good predictor of the financial situation of floriculture; Insolvency and risk measurement is a matter of great importance in the management of companies, and makes them less dependent on situations of market uncertainty, so it must be forecast in advance in order to make decisions on time and thus prevent companies from become bankrupt and have difficulty meeting their current obligations as they fall due. The Z1-Altman statistical model was applied, this being an insolvency prediction model, the study determined that it has a high percentage of bankruptcy risk prediction of companies because the companies with low results with respect to the indicators are the that are more likely to go bankrupt, in the last year of study 6 companies went bankrupt and 7 in the gray zone that represent an alert stage for companies, for which a series of strategies are presented to improve the risk of insolvency of companies in this situation. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación tiene como objetivo analizar el riesgo de insolvencia de las florícolas ubicadas en la ciudad de Latacunga provincia de Cotopaxi entre el período 2012-2019 con un total de 13 empresas de 8 años de actividad continua, permitiendo comprobar la efectividad del modelo y analizar la situación financiera de las empresas de manera que se pueda tomar los correctivos necesarios y evitar caer en una posible quiebra. Con la información obtenida se identificó que durante el estudio el modelo es una herramienta funcional que puede ser un buen predictor de la situación financiera de las florícolas; la insolvencia y medición del riesgo es un tema gran importancia en la gestión de las empresas, y hacerlas menos dependientes de situaciones de incertidumbre del mercado, por lo que debe ser pronosticada anticipadamente con el objetivo de tomar decisiones a tiempo y así evitar que las empresas lleguen a la quiebra y tener dificultades para cumplir con sus obligaciones actuales a su vencimiento. Se aplicó el modelo estadístico Z1-Altman, siendo este un modelo de predicción de insolvencia, el estudio determinó que tiene un alto porcentaje de predicción de riesgo de quiebra de las empresas debido a que las empresas con bajos resultados con respecto a los indicadores son las que tienen mayor probabilidad de quebrar, en el último año de estudio 6 empresas entraron en quiebra y 7 en zona gris que representan una etapa de alerta para las empresas, para lo que se presentan una serie de estrategias a seguir para mejorar el riesgo de insolvencia de las empresas en esa situación. | es_ES |
