This research work assessed the influence of two bio stimulators in the agronomic behavior of two varieties of amaranth (Amaranthus spp.) For the production of biomass. It used a split plot design with a 2x3, with 3 repetitions, with a total of 6 treatments, with 18 experimental units being evaluated, in addition the Tukey test was performed for the value of p < 0.05, applying to the sources of variation: treatments, repetitions, factor A, factor B and interaction A x B. The seeds of each variety were planted in germination trays, the land was delimited and the plots were installed for each treatment, the transplant was carried out when the seedlings had 6 leaves, according to the sketch of the trial, 20 plants were transplanted per treatment in each experimental unit. The data collection was done every 15 days for the indicators: stem size, the number of leaves. Inflorescence size data was taken at the time to evidence their formation (45, 60 and 75 days) and the biomass production for each variety was taken at the end of the test. The results of this research shows that the largest distribution area of amaranth is found in the Carchi, Ibarra and Azogues provinces. In addition, from the analysis carried out of the four parameters evaluated in the research, it evidenced that the application of the organic growth bio stimulators used in the present research did not show any significant difference for the indicators: stem size, biomass production and inflorescence size , the last with a very high coefficient of variation (105,15) that justifies a very low level of inflorescence formation because of the Rubi variety (A. Hybridus) it obtained through hybridization processes, however in the indicator amount of leaves could be observed significant difference for Factor A (varieties), which shows a different genetic characteristic among the species studied at the moment of accumulating biomass. Likewise, at the moment of evaluating the agronomic behavior of each one of the varieties under study, it could observe high levels of adaptation that it expressed in the decrease of the vegetative period of the plant, greater height of the plant, early formation of the inflorescence and accumulation of higher biomass compared to data obtained in the open field. And finally, in the economic analysis, the best treatment for the variety Rubi (A hybridus) was the treatment T5 (V2B1) with a ratio of 3.52 cost / benefit (B / C) and for the variety Algeria (A caudatus) T3 (V1B2) with 3.90 (B / C), however the economic difference in relation to the other treatments was minimales_ES
