| Resumen : | El presente trabajo está enfocado en determinar la abundancia y la diversidad de aves en el Barrio Belisario Quevedo Cantón Latacunga Provincia de Cotopaxi; mediante la observación directa, conteos por puntos, transectos lineales dando como resultado un registro de 8 Órdenes, 17 Familias y 25 Especies; las cuales están distribuidas en tres Zonas de acuerdo a la pendiente como punto de referencia al Cerro Putzalahua. En la Zona 1 se registró el 35% de abundancia de especies, en la Zona 2 su abundancia de aves es de 40 % y en la Zona 3 tenemos un 25% de abundancia, predominando el Orden Passeriformes; con los datos de este estudio se elaboró una guía de campo donde se incluyó información como el orden, familia, nombre científico, nombre común en español e inglés y una descripción general de cada especie. A través de esta guía de campo de aves, el observador tiene en sus manos un instructivo para la identificación de estas especies y disfrutara de la posibilidad de recorrer los senderos que están identificadas para el avistamiento de aves. La presente guía costara de 25 láminas a color con imágenes de alta resolución, facilitando la identificación de las especies existentes en el lugar, esto fomentara a los habitantes y turistas que gozarán de un interés en la actividad del avistamiento de aves en la Parroquia. También tiene otras finalidades como el generar conciencia en el cuidado de cada una de las especies que conforman este ecosistema, es de vital importancia ya que al detallar que tipo de variedades habitan en la Parroquia se puede dar un mejor manejo a las zonas para que esta pueda ser respetada y conservada, esta guía de aves pretende ser un aporte para el desarrollo del Aviturísmo de la Parroquia Belisario Quevedo donde podrán servir como soporte directo e indirecto para generar más afluencia turística al lugar haciendo de este un punto privilegiado para la observación de aves. |
| Descripción : | The present work is focused on determining the abundance and diversity of birds in the Belvedere Quevedo Canton Latacunga Province of Cotopaxi; through direct observation, counts by points, linear transects resulting in a record of 8 Orders, 17 Families and 25 Species; Which are distributed in three zones according to the slope as reference point to Cerro Putzalahua. In Zone 1, there was a 35% abundance of species, in Zone 2 its abundance of birds is 40% and in Zone 3 we have a 25% abundance, predominating the Order Passeriformes; With the data of this study a field guide was elaborated that included information like the order, family, scientific name, common name in Spanish and English and a general description of each species. Through this bird field guide, the observer has in his hands an instructive for the identification of these species and will enjoy the possibility of traversing the trails that are identified for the sighting of birds. This guide will cost 25 color plates with high resolution images, facilitating the identification of the existing species in the place, this will encourage the inhabitants and tourists who will enjoy an interest in the activity of bird watching in the Parish. It also has other purposes such as raising awareness in the care of each of the species that make up this ecosystem, is of vital importance since in detailing what kind of varieties inhabit the Parish can be given a better management to the areas for this Can be respected and preserved, this bird guide pretends to be a contribution for the development of Aviturism of the Parish Belisario Quevedo where they can serve as direct and indirect support to generate more tourist influx to the place making this a privileged point for bird watching |
