| dc.description | This present project of researching had as main objective to create a Descriptive Guide of birds that register different specimen in the in the Santa Ana of Pedregal neighborhood of the Machachi parish in the Machachi canton of the Pichincha province. Therefore, realized different activities that allowed to create the objective. The characterization of the current state of the study area was essential. This could be obtained with the compilation of information primary and secondary sources, determination to current condition of study zone. Furthermore, important data was register through field research, bibliographic research. Besides the bird inventory was carried out, through registration cards and methods and determining the avifaunal diversity of the study area. For the registry of birds, the vegetation of the study area was taken as a reference, in which the point counting technique was considered. Linear transects, intensive search, therefore registering 22 species, the same one that was considered for the elaboration of the avifaunal guide, each species contains the taxonomic classification (order, family, species, English name, scientific name, IUCN conservation and registration area) also have information according to the registered bird with the photograph that contain characteristics of each species observed. This guide will use as a tool for national and foreign tourists, tourism students, and ornithologists that dedicated to the study of birds, and it is very important for tourists that know the birds of area. This project will have an environmental and social value for the direct and indirect beneficiaries, the same that will contribute to the awareness of the people of the sector and the knowledge obtained can be used in the conservation. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo principal la elaboración de una guía descriptiva de aves, que recoge diferentes especímenes en el barrio Santa Ana del Pedregal de la parroquia Machachi en el cantón Machachi de la provincia de Pichincha. Para lo cual se desarrollaron diferentes actividades que permitieron el desarrollo de este objetivo. La caracterización del estado actual de la zona de estudio fue primordial, esto se lo pudo obtener con la recopilación de información en fuentes primarias y secundarias determinando así el estado actual de la zona de estudio, para lo cual se registró datos importantes mediante la investigación de campo, investigación bibliográfica, de la misma forma se ejecutó el inventario de aves, a través de fichas de registro y métodos y determinando la diversidad avifaunistica del área del estudio. Para el registro de aves se tomó como referencia la vegetación de la zona de estudio en la cual se tomó en cuenta la técnica de conteo por puntos, transeptos lineales, búsqueda intensiva, así registrando 22 especies, la misma que se tomó en cuenta para la elaboración de la guía de avifaunistica cada especie contiene la clasificación taxonómica (orden, familia, especie, nombre en inglés, nombre científico, conservación según la UICN y zona de registro) y también posen información acorde a la aves registrada seguida de la fotografía donde exponen las características de cada especie observada. Esta guía servirá con una herramienta para los turistas nacionales y extranjeros, estudiantes de turismo, y ornitólogos que se dedican al estudio de aves, y es muy importantes para el turista que conozca las aves de la zona. Este proyecto tendrá un valor ambiental y social para los beneficiarios directos e indirectos, el mismo que contribuirá a la concientización de las personas del sector y los conocimientos alcanzados podrán ser utilizados en la conservación de la misma. | es_ES |
