| Resumen : | El presente estudio se enfoca en caracterizar las alternativas ecoturísticas existentes en el cantón Latacunga de la provincia de Cotopaxi. Para esto se efectuará un estudio de revisión bibliográfica de información primaria y secundaria, también se aplicó una encuesta direccionada al turista para poder determinar la relevancia que tiene el turismo y por lo tanto el perfil del turista, se pudo precisar que en Latacunga existen diversos atractivos turísticos priorizando estos en el sector rural los atractivos naturales y en lo urbano lo histórico-cultural. Por otro punto se analizó que la oferta ha disminuido conjuntamente con la demanda, debido a la condición actual que se encuentra a causa de la pandemia del Covid-19, se reconoce que la situación turística ha cambiado porque la preferencia de los turistas es realizar turismo de naturaleza ya que el impacto de la pandemia generó buscar fuentes turísticas seguras y atractivos que cumplan con los estándares de bioseguridad. Posteriormente, se realizó un inventario de atractivos turísticos, junto con el análisis y la información obtenida, en total se identificaron cincuenta y siete atractivos turísticos, determinando diferentes actividades ecoturísticas que se ejecutara dependiendo la alternativa de suelo, aire y agua, recapitulando que con la información obtenida del instrumento técnico del (PDOT) del cantón, e información recopilada por la salida de campo se realizó a cabo con el diseño del mapa turístico en donde se reflejó la ubicación de los atractivos en cada parroquias del cantón Latacunga, en el folleto turístico se plasmó la caracterización, detallando información más relevantes, descripción y fotografías del atractivo, también se colocó las alternativas ecoturísticas que se desempeñará para cada atractivo. Finalmente, cualquier interés en última instancia, deben tomar las medidas necesarias para brindar alternativas según el deseo del turista, evitando la contaminación, permitiendo actividades que protejan la salud de los turistas y de quienes brindan productos y servicios turísticos. |
| Descripción : | This study focuses on characterizing the existing ecotourism alternatives in Latacunga, province of Cotopaxi. For this purpose, a bibliographic review of primary and secondary information was carried out, a survey was also applied to tourists in order to determine the relevance of tourism and therefore the profile of the tourist. It was determined that in Latacunga there are several tourist attractions, prioritizing natural attractions in the rural sector and historical-cultural attractions in the urban sector. On the other hand, it was analyzed that the supply has decreased along with the demand, due to the current condition caused by the pandemic of Covid-19, it is recognized that the tourism situation has changed because the preference of tourists is to make nature tourism since the impact of the pandemic generated the search for safe tourist sources and attractions that meet biosafety standards. Subsequently, an inventory of tourist attractions was made, together with the analysis and information obtained, a total of fifty-seven tourist attractions were identified, determining different ecotourism activities to be executed depending on the alternative of soil, air, and water, recapitulating that with the information obtained from the technical instrument (PDOT) of the canton, and information gathered by the field trip was carried out with the design of the tourist map which reflected the location of the attractions in each parish of Latacunga, in the tourist brochure the characterization was reflected, detailing the most relevant information, description and photographs of the attraction, also placed the ecotourism alternatives that will be performed for each attraction. Finally, any interest must ultimately take the necessary measures to provide alternatives according to the desire of the tourist, avoid pollution, and allow activities that protect the health of tourists and those who provide tourism products and services. |
