- ItemFlexibilidad laboral y equilibrio trabajo - vida en la cooperativa de ahorro y crédito Andina ltda.(Ecuador: Latacunga: Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi (UTC), 2024-08) Lema Guamán, María Belén; Misse Baldias, Reymund Elisey; Alvarez Montalvo, Amparo del CarmenThe purpose of the research entitled ‘Labour Flexibility and Work-Life Balance in Andina Credit Union Ltd.’ is to analyse labour flexibility and work-life balance in Andina Credit Union Ltd. This research has a quantitative approach, with a cross-sectional and descriptive research design. For this research, two surveys were designed, the first one focused on measuring Work Flexibility with 20 items organised in 4 dimensions (time flexibility, workplace flexibility, task flexibility and contractual flexibility) and the second one to measure Work-Life Balance consisting of 20 items and distributed in 4 dimensions (personal satisfaction, work flexibility policies, job satisfaction and health and well-being). Both questionnaires have a Likert scale response format with 5 alternatives where 1 represents ‘Strongly Disagree’ and 5 represents ‘Strongly Agree’. The reliability and validity of the questionnaire has been assured using Cronbach's Alpha coefficient is α = 0.875 for Work Flexibility and α = 0.907 for Work-Life Balance, indicating excellent reliability of the instrument. Furthermore, the relationship between Job Flexibility and Work-Life Balance was demonstrated using Spearman's correlation, the application of this study to the collected data revealed a remarkable correlation value of 0.805. In conclusion, it is confirmed that the implementation of work flexibility policies promotes a favourable work-life balance which is fundamental for the well-being and productivity of employees.
