    “Plan de negocio para la creación de una empresa “Modulpuertas” en el cantón Latacunga, provincia de Cotopaxi”

    This project, titled “Business Plan for Company Creation 'MODULPUERTAS' in Latacunga Canton, Cotopaxi Province”, addresses the growing demand for multifunctional furniture. Current customers seek practical, aesthetically appealing, and innovative furniture that optimizes space in their homes. The objectives of this business plan were to justify theoretically the concepts, definitions, and structure of a business plan as an administrative tool to enable accurate makingdecision regarding to a new company opening; to conduct a market and a technical study for the creation of the company “MODULPUERTAS” in Latacunga; and to carry out a financialstudy and evaluation to determine feasibility of this business. The research follows a quantitative approach, analyzing measurable and quantifiable elements to determine market size, potential customers, market characteristics, and appropriate production. The considered population was 81,394, from which a sample of 382 was surveyed to assess market feasibility. The market study revealed that multifunctional furniture has a potential demand of 91.62% of the total population, indicating strong interest in purchasing multifunctional furniture. The initial investment for the company is $24,798.51, with 100% self-financing. The financial results of the project showed a Net Present Value (NPV) of $9,384.29, an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 35%, a payback period of 2 years, 1 month, and 13 days, and a cost-benefit ratio of 1.27, confirming the economic viability of the business and its capacity to generate long-term benefits.
