    Plan de negocios para la creación de una empresa dedicada a la producción y comercialización de infusión de higo deshidratado

    The objective of this entrepreneurship project was to determine the technical, commercial, and financial feasibility of creating Sumak Infusiones, a company dedicated to the production and commercialization of an infusion made from dehydrated fig (Ficus carica L.) in the city of Latacunga, Cotopaxi Province. The proposal aims to add value to a locally produced raw material through a natural, caffeine-free beverage presented in filter bags. To evaluate the feasibility of the project, market, strategic, technical, organizational, and financial studies were conducted. The market study involved the application of 383 surveys to consumers in Latacunga to determine product acceptance, purchase frequency, willingness to pay, and presentation preferences. The technical study established the location, production process, installed capacity, and resources required for the operation of the venture. The strategic study defined positioning and marketing strategies, while the financial study determined the initial investment, costs, projected revenues, and profitability. The results showed favorable product acceptance and confirmed its feasibility, obtaining a Net Present Value (NPV) of USD 30,229.85, an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 45.05%, higher than the Minimum Attractive Rate of Return (MARR) of 12.90%, a Benefit-Cost Ratio of 2.16, and an Investment Recovery Period of 2.36 years.
