- Item“El Clima organizacional en la cooperativa de ahorro y crédito OSCUS del cantón Latacunga”.(Ecuador: Latacunga: Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi: (UTC), 2024-08) Atuña Coque, Nayely Nicole; Chinguercela Herrera, María Esther; Moreno Trávez, Wilson FabiánThe research aimed to develop strategies to improve the organizational climate at the OSCUS Savings and Credit Cooperative located in the Latacunga canton. To achieve this goal, a quantitative approach was adopted, which facilitated the collection of precise and verifiable data, allowing for a detailed assessment of the organizational climate within the cooperative. The research design was bibliographic, based on an exhaustive review of existing literature on organizational climate and improvement strategies. This bibliographic methodology provided a solid foundation of prior knowledge and relevant theories, which informed the recommendations. The research was classified as descriptive, involving a detailed analysis and documentation of the current characteristics of the organizational climate without directly intervening in the study environment. This descriptive level of research provided a clear and comprehensive view of the conditions and issues present in the cooperative. For data collection, structured surveys were used, applied to the cooperative’s employees. A questionnaire with closed-ended questions and Likert scales was used to evaluate various dimensions of the organizational climate, such as interpersonal relationships, job satisfaction, and internal communication. The diagnosis revealed critical areas requiring immediate attention. The dimensions of Interpersonal Relationships and Job Satisfaction showed significant negative scores. These results indicated issues with communication among colleagues and an unsatisfactory perception regarding compensation and growth opportunities within the cooperative. This diagnosis highlighted the need for specific strategies to address and improve these problematic areas.
