    “Levantamiento de procesos y procedimientos de las diferentes áreas en el vicerrectorado académico de la Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi”.

    The main objective of the project was to carry out the assessment and analysis of the processes and procedures within the areas of the Academic Vice-Rectorate of the Technical University of Cotopaxi. This effort aimed to unify the processes carried out in various areas such as Curriculum Management, Language Center, Student Management, and Library, to enhance coherence and understanding of their operations. The initial phase of the project involved collecting and analyzing existing processes through semi-structured interviews with key staff, direct observation of current practices, and review of relevant documentation. This methodology allowed for a detailed understanding of the current state, identification of strengths and weaknesses in procedures, and discovery of opportunities for improvement in academic practices. Based on this information, a manual of processes and procedures was developed, which includes flowcharts and visual models to clearly represent key processes and propose improvements based on efficient standards. The results of the project provided a comprehensive view of current operations and established a solid foundation for future optimizations. This manual will enable the Vice-Rectorate to operate more aligned with the university's strategic objectives, promoting greater understanding of operations and quality within the academic environment. Implementing these improvements will facilitate more effective management and contribute to the enhancement of educational quality, benefiting both students and academic staff.
