When analyzing the situation of the country's electric companies, there are several aspects that must be corrected, such as energy theft, fraud and administrative deficiencies derived from an exogenous conception of a socio-economic and political nature, to endogenous causes of a financial and technical nature, without defining goals and demands for results for the entrusted management, with a lack of financial and economic viability, which ultimately results in non-technical losses. A plan for the control and reduction of non-technical losses of electric energy identifies the company and its administration, based on the Direction of Actions for the Recovery of Electric Energy and Economic Income. The plan for the control and reduction of non-technical losses of energy, properly conceived and executed based on institutional factors, is profitable for the company, if we relate the income attributed to economic recovery with periodic investments in suppliers dedicated to electric service, versus periodic investments in specific programs. The Group's strategy is based on structuring interdisciplinary programs, taking into account the execution of investments in infrastructure improvement, payment facilities and control of the energy that flows through the systems and an important component of social work, which encourages the culture of rational use of energy, giving and generating a sense of belonging in the operators. This work incorporates economic terms and concepts applied to the management of the control of non-technical losses of electric energy. These actions benefit the improvement of the quality of service, the improvement of the networks of the distribution areas and the measurement and attention to the users in a better way.
