In addition to analyzing the relationship between both variables and proposing effective strategies to improve them. The present study is based on the growing need for credit unions to adapt to a competitive financial environment, where service quality and innovation are essential for their sustainability. Work motivation has been identified as a critical factor influencing employee productivity and its improvement can result in a significant increase in organizational performance. The methodology used is quantitative in approach, the study covered a total population of 154 collaborators, without applying the sampling technique. A questionnaire was employed, which was validated by experts and showed high reliability, with a Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.868 for measuring work motivation and 0.908 for productivity. Regarding work motivation, descriptive statistics showed a mean of 45.69 and a variance of 52.057 with a 95% confidence interval for the mean of motivation was between 44.55 and 46.84. To analyze the relationship between the variables, the correlation coefficient was used, which yielded a value of r = 0.65, indicating a positive and moderate correlation. Furthermore, a chi-square test was applied to evaluate the relationship between these variables, obtaining a value of 1138.72 with a bilateral asymptotic significance of less than 0.001, with the result that the relationship between work motivation and productivity is statistically significant, and to address the weakest aspects identified, a table of strategies will be drawn up to develop and improve these areas, with the aim of further increasing organizational performance.
