    Elaboración de un texto ESP (Inglés para fines específicos) tiene como objetivo incrementar el vocabulario de los estudiantes de quinto y sexto nivel de competencia en inglés de la Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi, 2007-2008/

    The main objective that guides this research is to design an E.S.P (English for Specific Purposes) text aimed at increasing technical terminology in fifth and sixth level students of the degree. The survey was applied to the students and teachers of the English major since each group contributed information according to their experiences in the inter-learning process related to the class. The results obtained determine the need to create a supporting text of ESP focused on vocabulary in four specific areas that are: Accounting, Medicine, Electricity and Computing to facilitate and improve the lexicon in vocabulary learning; Therefore, the proposal is presented below, which was developed taking into account the multiple needs that students have regarding the subject, directly benefiting students and teachers in mastering the required vocabulary.
