Organic fertilizers are obtained products from plant, animal, or microbial-origin materials subjected to natural decomposition or transformation processes. The objective of the research was to evaluate three commercial organic fertilizers in the cultivation of lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) variety botiola with two pretreatments in a pile on the Salache campus. The work was done through experimental, quantitative, and field research where 5kg of Ecuabonaza, Nutriabono, and 3. lb of Humita were applied to the seedlings. Data were recorded every 7 days in the field book. The analyzed variables were: plant height, leaf number, length, weight, and equatorial diameter. A completely randomized divided block experimental design (DBCA) was applied, with ANOVA and Tuckey test. In the analysis of the variable, it was determined that the 5kg Ecuabonaza base fertilizer effectively affects the development of the lettuce plant in its different phenological stages and is effective for production and yield in the field. Regarding the pretreatment, it was shown that the first was the most effective, surpassing pretreatment 2. However, in the treatments, the most outstanding were T1, T5, which showed the highest performance in the different variables evaluated. In conclusion, the 5kg Ecoabonaza base fertilizer combination and pretreatment 1 turned out to be the most effective in all stages of the crop, as well as in the lettuce production in the field.
