The methodology was based on the Bureau guidelines of Land Management (BLM) method to evaluate visual quality, visual absorption capacity (VAC), fragility and visual sensitivity in the landscape units. This allows to establish qualitative methods that with the application of subjective tables allow to evaluate the visual condition of the landscape, in addition 40 surveys were applied to the inhabitants of the study area in a range of ages from 30 to 60 years old applying the snowball method, cartographic maps were also elaborated, in this way it was possible to establish the current situation of the moorlands and through this to establish a conservation proposal in political, environmental, economic and social-cultural areas. The results show that the moorlands nowadays presents: a medium visual quality with an average of 18 points, which belongs to class B and is common in the region studied with areas that have diversity in shape, color, line and texture. On the other hand, visual absorption capacity with an average of 21.1 with class II, with a medium fragility and moderate range and areas with medium potential regeneration capacity and the landscape presents some adaptive capacity. Also, the visual fragility with a class III, with an average of 24.17, with a high fragility, therefore, it is necessary to apply conservation and landscape recovery measures. Finally, the result of visual sensitivity with an average of 39.1 with class III: areas of medium quality and medium-high CAV, with areas where conservation is a priority. It is concluded that there is a need to implement landscape conservation and management activities in the study area, being necessary to take into account the pre-established strategies as highly significant for its conservation.
