    “Estudio de un sistema automatizado para el control eficiente de una estación de bombeo de agua potable”

    The present work addresses the problem of manual dependence in the dosing process of chemical reagents in the drinking water pumping station of La Victoria Parish, which can compromise the quality of the supply. The objective is to propose an automated system that precisely controls the dosage of these reagents, ensuring that the water meets required standards. To this end, a solution was designed based on a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and an HMI graphical interface, allowing efficient management and real-time supervision. The methodology included the collection of information, equipment selection and simulation of the proposed system using specialized tools. The simulation results confirmed that the automated system is viable and significantly improves the operation of the station, minimizing manual intervention and ensuring a constant supply of drinking water. Although this is a theoretical proposal, it establishes a solid foundation for future implementations that seek to modernize the water treatment infrastructure in the community.
