- ItemImplementación de una aplicación web para la gestión de inspección y reparación de vehículos para la mecánica “Multiauto”.(Ecuador: Latacunga: Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi: (UTC), 2024-08) Martínez Vega, Richard Javier; Muela Ugsha, Christian Miguel; Corrales Beltran, Segundo HumbertoAt MultiAuto, located in the city of Quito, a problem was identified in the manual management of vehicle inspections and repairs, which was inefficient and prone to errors. The main objective of this technological proposal is to develop a web application that automates these processes, improving efficiency and accuracy in workshop management. The development of the application was carried out using the Python-based Django framework and the PostgreSQL database, both of which were selected because they are free software tools that offer robustness and scalability. The application was designed to integrate into the workshop workflow, allowing mechanics, managers, and customers to interact effectively with the system. The methodology used for the project's development was Scrum. This agile methodology facilitated collaborative work and iterative delivery of functionalities, ensuring that the needs of the workshop were addressed continuously and adaptively. Qualitative research, combining field and bibliographic research, was used to collect information. Interviews were conducted with key company personnel to identify specific requirements and ensure that the application meets expectations. The implemented system has two main actors: the administrator and the mechanic, each with specific roles within the system. In addition, a functionality was enabled so that customers can check the status of their vehicles through an informative page, improving transparency and customer satisfaction. With this technological proposal, the existing problem was solved, implementing an integral system that efficiently covers the needs of vehicle inspection and repair management in the mechanics.
