    “Desarrollo de un software MRP nivel II para el proceso de planeación y control de producción de la empresa SONUX.”

    At SONUX, a company dedicated to the development and production of spare parts and components for vehicles, specifically in the area of gaskets for the exhaust system, located in the province of Pichincha, Canton Quito, the identified problem was that the company does not have an integrated system that effectively coordinates product demand, material availability, and production capacity. The main objective is to develop an MRP level II software to contribute to the company's production planning and control process, employing the XP methodology. To achieve this, an exhaustive analysis of bibliographic sources was conducted to contribute with solid information content on MRP II systems and web applications. The system was developed using the PHP programming language with the CodeIgniter 4 framework, and MySQL was used as the database management system, along with FrontEnd implementation technologies such as Bootstrap 5, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, as well as libraries and techniques for web development like jQuery, FullCalendar, AJAX, TCPDF, and TOAST. This technological approach allows for an intuitive interface and a better user experience. The methodology implemented for the development of this project was XP, which allowed us to adapt to SONUX's specific needs and requirements, and at the same time, enabled continuous improvement adaptability in coding based on the changes suggested by the company. Pilot tests were conducted to validate the fulfillment of the requested requirements, ensuring the system's functionality. Through this proposal, it was shown that the MRP II system meets the required specifications and will greatly contribute to the production control and inventory management of SONUX, guaranteeing continuous improvement.
