- ItemTratamiento de las necesidades del entorno en los establecimientos educativos del cantón Saraguro, provincia de Loja, con los contenidos del área de Cultura Estética de la Educación Básica, año lectivo 1999-2000(Ecuador : Pujilí : Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi (UTC), 2001-08) Bertha María, Alvarado; Víctor Polibio, López Yaguana; Manuela, Yaguana Ojeda; Fanny, LoaizaFor this purpose, a central objective was proposed aimed at: Determining the needs of the social environment of the educational establishments of the Saraguro canton, relating them to the contents of the Aesthetic Culture area of the Basic Education of said establishments and structuring a proposal that allows the improvement in the treatment of the needs of the environment. In the field research, cross-surveys were applied to 70 teachers and 98 parents, the same ones that had the purpose of determining if the teachers are treating the needs of the environment with the contents of Culture in all the Basic Education establishments of the ten parishes of the Saraguro canton. After the needs of the environment for 66% of the community, mainly from urban sectors, are met with the treatment of the contents of the Aesthetic Culture area; It was determined that 26% of the community corresponds to the rural sector, who indicate that the contents of the area should deal with the visual arts, body expression and ancestral music, as well as the art that is reproduced in agricultural activity, in addition to clothing, customs that are innate to the rural environment, which have been inherited and reproduced as cultural heritage from past generations. In addition, it was verified from 52% of the criteria of parents that the area of Aesthetic Culture reproduces an inter-learning that serves students to know and enrich their culture. From the results of the research, an alternative proposal was made with the contents to be included and the methodological strategies that link the contents of the area of Aesthetic Culture with the needs and problems of the environment of the educational establishments belonging to the Basic Education of the ten parishes.
