    Diseño e implementación de un sistema de inyección para fertirrigación en cultivo de rosas

    This project aimed to design and implement an automated injection system for fertigation in rose cultivation. The proposal was developed based on the characterization of the existing manual process and the identification of key variables such as pH, electrical conductivity (EC), flow rate, and pressure. A hydraulic architecture with two pumping stages was designed, integrating industrial sensors, an M5Stack Tough as the processing and supervision unit, RS485-Modbus RTU communication, and a variable frequency drive to regulate the secondary pump rated at 0,51 kW (0,7 HP) through a PI control strategy. The validation included communication, variable acquisition, pressure, flow rate, supervision interface, and controller response tests. During approximately 39 minutes of monitoring, 2,333 consecutive records were obtained with no reported communication losses. The results confirmed the functional integration of the devices, continuous acquisition of process variables, and a stable response of the control logic and the variable frequency drive. Overall, the tests validated the operation of the implemented automated system as an RS485-based monitoring, supervision, and control platform for the fertigation process, suitable for small-scale flower production units.
