- Item“Impacto del control de velocidad en la eficiencia de motores de inducción”(Ecuador: Latacunga: Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi: (UTC), 2024-08) Días Caisa, Juan Carlos; Guanocunga Pila, Alisson Dayana; Marrero Ramírez, SecundinoThis research study stems from the need to optimize the induction motors' efficiency, which commonly operate at a constant speed and consume the same amount of energy regardless of the load they use. Since these motors have a fixed energy consumption, regardless of the load variability, it is sought to explore control algorithms to improve their performance through speed control. The research is focused on analyzing the impact of different speed control algorithms on induction motors under varying load conditions using variable frequency drives. These devices can modulate the energy transmitted to the motor, thus allowing precise speed control and optimizing energy consumption. The study approach is integral, combining experimental and descriptive methods supported by analytical tools. Extensive tests are performed under various load conditions to evaluate how different control algorithms affect the performance of induction motors. The research examines in detail how each algorithm can optimize engine performance and improve engine efficiency. A comparison and analysis of the results is carried out using advanced data analysis tools. This study's findings are aimed at providing practical guidelines for the selection and implementation of control algorithms that optimize the performance of induction motors.
