    physical characteristics, either in terms of the characters, customs, temperaments, inclinations, culture, etc., of its inhabitants. The countryside sometimes gives a feeling of loneliness, of disintegration, of an incipient and weak community; Meanwhile, the city offers a picture of compactness, unity and close and vigorous social relations. There is greater heterogeneity here, but supported by a more definite sense of collaboration, than in the countryside, where the traits of individualism are more visible and common, and where climatic factors and the biological roots of the species have determined characteristic types that easily denounce their origin and the environment from which they come. The passage of four centuries of miscegenation has not been able to close the gaps between the two main cultures rooted in the territory, with the lines of separation being greater in the Andean Region and the East, where the white, in the function of master and conqueror, and the peasant in the plane of servant and conquered, remained apart from the Spaniards.
