    In the Postgraduate unit of the Cotopaxi Technical University, the need was found to implement a system in which student grades can be managed and defense and degree certificates can be automatically generated. The increase in the number of students, the dispersion of the use of tools such as Word documents, spreadsheets, email, and other non-integrated elements, made it difficult to coordinate administrative staff and increased the risk of errors and delays in delivering important academic documents for students and academic tutors. Because of this problem, the development of an integrated process management system was proposed, from a perspective oriented to end users, to help the authorities and administrative staff of the Postgraduate unit. After a detailed review of the needs of the key participants and the ICT department, a database was designed that integrates all the data from the different required functionalities. Advanced analysis capabilities and interactive visualizations were implemented in the system, which were held depending on the role that interacts with the system.
