    “Diseño de un plan de negocios para la creación de un centro de apoyo académico en la ciudad de Ambato”

    This degree work focused on the creation of a business plan with the purpose of reducing the risks associated with the investment. The main objective was to develop a business plan for the creation of an academic support center for children and adolescents between 6 and 18 years old in the Ambato city, Tungurahua province. The used methodology in the market research was based on a quantitative and descriptive approach using surveys as a data collection technique. A questionnaire composed of 19 questions was designed, and a population of 20915 families of strata A, B and C+ was considered. From this population, a sample of 377 households was selected, from which one response per family was obtained, resulting in a total of 377 responses. The results indicated that the business plan is viable, requiring an initial investment of $41,884.32. The financial analysis showed a net present value of $79,008.75, an internal rate of return of 43%, a payback period of 1 year, 11 months and 15 days, and a cost benefit of $1.50, suggesting that the project is feasible for implementation.
