    Play never ceases to be an occupation of primary importance during childhood. Nature implants inclinations or propensities to play in every normal child, to ensure that certain basic needs of language development will be satisfied. Culture directs, restricts and reorients these playful impulses. For this reason, we believe it is appropriate to carry out this work. The objective of this research is to provide teachers and students with a tool that allows them to develop skills in the area of Language and Communication, through the development of a Guide of Educational Games to achieve significant knowledge. This work consists of scientific content related to learning, as well as to the playful activity that we can apply with students. In addition, the analysis of the results obtained with the application of surveys and interviews is carried out, through tabulation tables and statistical representations in order to, based on them, establish the respective conclusions and recommendations. The background, characteristics and objectives demonstrate the feasibility of executing the project. The type of research used in this work is bibliographical and documentary, exploratory, descriptive, for which we used the deductive and scientific method. Based on the results indicated above and with the aim of improving the quality of Ecuadorian education, the group of researchers presents a GUIDE OF GAMES TO DEVELOP SKILLS AND ABILITIES IN THE AREA OF LANGUAGE AND COMMUNICATION.

    La situación socio-económica y su incidencia en el desarrollo del proceso enseñanza - aprendizaje en los niños de la escuela fiscal Luis Felipe Chávez de Belisario Quevedo, Latacunga 2003-2004

    Nuestra educación en los últimos años ha venido sufriendo un sinnúmero de cambios fruto de los diferentes gobiernos que lo toman como un gasto no como una inversión, por lo que en vez seguir adelante se retrasa frente al desarrollo de la sociedad mundial. El desarrollo de nuestra Tesis se basa, en la investigación de campo de carácter descriptiva, para de esta manera obtener resultados reales, que nos permitieron conocer la realidad socio-económica de la Comunidad Educativa en el que nos desenvolvemos, y de esta manera buscar las posibles soluciones. Se aplicó la encuesta socio-económica a una población de veinte docentes, doscientos tres alumnos y ciento nueve padres de familia, obteniendo resultados reales, intercambiando criterios con cada persona y sacando las debidas conclusiones para elaborar la propuesta, que es el compromiso de mejorar la educación, con los resultados obtenidos se cuantificó y se graficó, determinando marcadas diferencias entre nuestros educandos. Esta investigación nos conlleva a maestros, padres de familia, autoridades educativas, a buscar el cambio, reflexionar sobre la situación lamentable en la que hoy se desarrolla el proceso educativo.
