    The purpose of the technological proposal for the design and installation of a pumping system using a rio-pump in the Illuchi sector is to provide water supply in a region without access to electricity. This system benefits the agricultural population of the Illuchi sector that requires a pumping system and does not have electricity. One of the key points is the design of a lifting mechanism that protects the pumping system from variations in river flow, preventing damage during floods, and in periods of low water, it is able to adapt to its lower flow. The system is installed at a height of 4.20 meters from the river bottom, and considering that the river can rise up to 1.60 meters during flood periods, the system is isolated at a safe distance of 30 centimeters above the maximum water level. The lifting mechanism allows the pump to be lowered to its lowest point in 2 minutes and raised to its highest point in 3.5 minutes. The pump delivers a flow rate of 8.09 L/min at 13 revolutions per minute. The total construction cost of the pumping system was $1102.05. The low operating costs of the system make it affordable for rural communities that could benefit from this type of technology.
