    Development of a special didactic text to improve the teaching - English language learning for students of the fourth cycle of the career of the UTC English, 2008-2009 period

    This research was carried out with the purpose of improving the Teaching-Learning process in the institution with the elaboration of a Special Didactic text, it will serve like a supporting material to the teachers of the English career, take in account that English Language Teaching is a fundamental priority and it should be imparted with didactic resources in order that the students acquire knowledge easily. The theorical foundation contains interesting topics as: General Didactics, Special Didactic, Special Didactics in the English Language, English language abilities, Teaching Methods classification and Methodology which themes are required for the thesis development. This research was carried out in the Cotopaxi Technical University located in the Eloy Alfaro parish, with the participation of teachers and students of the fourth level of the English Career. According to the survey's results applied to the teacher and students the authors are in the necessity of elaborate a didactic-pedagogical handbook of Special Didactics, which will help in the Teaching contribute with the students' skills development. Learning process which will The main objective which guided this research was: The elaboration of a didactic-pedagogical handbook of Special Didactics for the Teaching - Learning process improvement of the English Language in the fourth level students of the English career of the Cotopaxi Technical University, period.

    The investigation is inscribed in the analysis of Professional Profile of the English Mayor in the Career of Man's Administrative and Humanistic Sciences of the Cotopaxi Technical University, because it is the base of the academic development according to the social demands and the scientific and technological development. The professional Profile is a very important aspect, therefore there is the necessity of design an appropriate professional profile, that the student will have when he will finish his studies, besides it permits to obtain information about knowledges, skills, capacities, attitudes, aptitudes, methodology and creativity that student should manage in the educative aspects. The Professional Profile is a significant aspect, because nowadays the education requires teachers that are compromised with the institution, like a leader in his professional field, with vocation, with practical experience, with a solid scientific and didactics formation, so that of this way the society can obtain a teacher of excellence, efficacy, efficiency; with this the problem takes importance, so the obtained results will help to take decisions to increase the English Language teaching, it will permit that the new teacher does not have difficulties in his area of work.
