A quantitative approach was used, data that can be measured (numerical) was collected, such as the number of animals and number of offspring per birth. 65 females suitable for reproduction were used. The research was observational. The facilities for raising guinea pigs in the reproduction stage were analyzed during the time of heat and the gestation process. For this, the cages were measured and the material from which they are built was observed. In addition, it was evaluated if the space is sufficient according to the mating system that was used, and if the conditions of the materials are adequate for the number of females that were in each module. The characterization complied with the three-level module model with dimensions of 1.87 m long by 1 m wide. Each level measured 30 cm long and 90 cm wide, with a depth of 65 cm, through controlled continuous mating, based on family production in a ratio of 8 females to 1 male. Regarding categorization, females of 1st and 2nd birth were initially found. General averages of all births that occurred during the duration of the study were obtained, from the litter size that was 2.1 from the first births, in the same way the percentage of pregnancy was obtained where it was 30%. , giving a birth rate of 56.5% of rabbits, in addition a mortality rate of 28.8% was obtained. The productive capacity of females is reduced as the number of births increases, however they are always prone to pregnancy, which maintains a line of reproductive quality.
