The inaccuracy both teachers and the students are everyday more noticeable because there is not a didactic guide for the teaching - learning process that represents the true students' interests of the rural area and that it is also according to the national reality. That is why present researching work intents to develop the communicative skills of English in the students of the sixths and sevenths years of basic education of the town's rural schools through a English didactic guide designed with methods and appropriate techniques to get in the student a constructivist and significant learning. For this effect, the work is sustained in the investigation about real facts that are in the natural and social environment based in a hypothesis: the design of a didactic English guide will permit to develop the communicative skills in the students of the sixths and sevenths years of the basic education of the Pastocalle town's rural schools. The validity and dependability will be develop on use of methods and techniques in the design of the guide related with the national reality to get a free and spontaneous communication, with the security that the present work will increase the interest of teachers and students, that will serve as base for future works and applications of the topic in other educational institutions, since it represents a contribution that to increase the quality of education that is taught in the Pastocalle town's rural schools.
