- ItemFertirrigación para el cultivo de ají (Capsicum annuum) mediante un sistema de riego por goteo en La Maná.(Ecuador : La Maná Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi (UTC), 2024-08) Flores Paucar, Kevin Stiven; Miranda Calero, Anderson Efraín; Salazar Saltos, Alex EnriqueThis research was carried out in the Recta de Vélez Sector, Pujilí Canton, Cotopaxi Province, whose main objective was to apply fertigation for the cultivation of chili pepper (Capsicum annum) through a drip irrigation system, for which a DBCA design was used with four treatments (mineral solutions) which were ammonium nitrate, monoammonium phosphate and potassium nitrate, five repetitions, in addition, agronomic variables of great importance were evaluated such as: plant height (cm), number of leaves (unit), number of flowers, equatorial diameter of the fruit (cm), stem diameter, number of buds, fruit weight (gr), fruit length (cm), number of fruits harvested and yield (kg / ha). Regarding the results, the T1 120% mineral solution was the one that obtained the best results in the variables plant height with a value of 85.14 cm, number of leaves with 140.25 units, number of flowers 6.65, equatorial diameter of the fruit with 1.57 cm and number of buds with 10.90 units, regarding the stem diameter the best was T2 100% mineral solution with a value of 1.16 cm, in the fruit weight the T4 60% mineral solution obtained a weight of 75.75 g, fruit length with 12.73 cm, number of fruits 9.30 units and yield with an average of 11362.50 kg / ha. In the case of the economic analysis, the treatment with the 60% solution was the one that obtained the highest production with 11,362.50 kg/ha, yielding a value of $33,519.38 per hectare, presenting a profitability of 35%, demonstrating that fertirrigation is a reliable alternative for the production of chili pepper.
