    Modelación y simulación de un prototipo de turbina de río Michell-Banki.

    This project shows an investigation focused on the evaluation of the design, operation and efficiency of the Michell-Banki turbine as a viable technology for sustainable hydropower generation. In the project it was analyzed in depth its operating principles and its ability to efficiently harness water energy under different flow and flow conditions. In developing the Michell-Banki turbine prototype, it will focus on its performance in the context of renewable energy growth. Tests we will be conducted in a controlled environment and use computational modeling tools to optimize both its design and efficiency.The turbine will be constructed with carbon fiber filament and nylon filament, materials selected to improve its performance and durability underwater. In addition, it will investigate possible applications of the turbine in pico-generation for rural communities and its integration in large-scale renewable energy systems, paying special attention to environmental and social impacts, such as its effect on aquatic ecosystems and its contribution to sustainable development in areas close to water sources.
