- ItemDesarrollo de un modelo de evaluación técnico económico para la optimización de inversiones en micro generación fotovoltaica en la granja avícola “Damiancito” en el cantón Pelileo, provincia de Tungurahua.(Ecuador: Latacunga: Universidad Técnica e Cotopaxi (UTC), 2024-08) Paredes Sánchez, Daniela Alejandra; Marrero Ramírez, SecundinoCurrently, the search for sustainable and economically viable energy alternatives is of great importance for the agro-industrial sector, especially for poultry farms, where energy consumption is a key factor for the operations and profitability of a company. The present research work focuses on the development of a technical-economic evaluation that can optimize investments in micro solar generation in the poultry farm, considering both technical and financial aspects. The use of photovoltaic systems in poultry farms not only promises to reduce traditional energy consumption and associated operating costs, but also to reduce the environmental impact of these operations. However, the profitability of these systems depends on several factors, such as geographic location, local climatic conditions, and the correct design and installation of the photovoltaic system. In economic and financial research, the profitability of the project is evaluated using indicators such as the Net Present Value NPV and the Internal Rate of Return IRR. These indicators are necessary to determine the profitability of investing in micro photovoltaic generation. The NPV is a measure that allows us to know the present value of the future cash flows that the investment will generate, on the other hand, the IRR is the discount rate that makes the NPV equal to zero. For the mathematical calculations part, specifically the optimization of the model, the AMPL program is used, which allows the information to be parameterized and models the maximization of economic benefits of the photovoltaic system.
