    Evaluación del comportamiento agronómico de los clones de papa (Solanum tuberosum) INIAP 29 e INIAP 35 frente a la variedad INIAP CIP libertad en el campus Salache, UTC 2024.

    The present research was carried out at the Technical University of Cotopaxi - Salache Campus, Eloy Alfaro Parish, Latacunga Canton, Cotopaxi Province, Ecuador. The general objective was to evaluate the agronomic performance of potato clones (Solanum Tuberosum) INIAP 29 and INIAP 35 against the variety INIAP CIP freedom in the study site, for this trial was implemented a completely randomized block design (DBCA) with three treatments and three replicates with a total of 9 experimental units, the variables evaluated were: percentage of emergence, height, vigor, uniformity, days to flowering, days to onset of PMP symptomatology, days to harvest, number of tubers per plant, weight of tubers per plant and yield, these variables were those indicated in the book “El cultivo de papa en el Ecuador” published by the authors Pumisacho, M. & Sherwood, S. (2002). The data obtained was analyzed using the INFOSTAT software where the Turkey test was applied at 5% for the sources of variation that showed statistical significance. With the data obtained in the research it was established that the promising clones INIAP 35 and INIAP 29 obtained better agronomic performance compared to the variety INIAP CIP- Libertad, however, in yield the variety INIAP CIP- Libertad was superior to the clones INIAP 35 and INIAP 29 with 21175.57 kilograms per hectare.
