    “Evaluación de medidas de eficiencia energética en el sistema eléctrico de Aglomerados Cotopaxi S. A”

    This degree project aims to evaluate energy efficiency measures at Aglomerados Cotopaxi S.A, through a diagnosis based on detailed collection and analysis of information from the electrical and lighting systems. Specialized software tools were used to characterize these systems, ensuring an accurate diagnosis of energy efficiency. Updating information on the electrical and lighting systems was crucial component of this study, including the single-line diagram, the electrical load database, and the energy consumption diagnosis. This information was essential for the precise characterization of the company’s electrical and lighting systems. As a result of this study, two strategic proposals were developed focused on improving energy efficiency, with the goal of reducing energy consumption and updating to more efficient technologies for system performance. Implementing new technologies and improving the lighting system could lead to significant annual energy savings and enhance the performance of the electrical system. This study provides valuable insights for developing energy efficiency strategies applicable to similar industries.
