- Item“Implementación de un sistema híbrido mediante el uso de energía renovable no convencional para abastecer diferentes equipos electrónicos”(Ecuador: Latacunga: Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi: (UTC), 2024-08) Quishpe Guaman, David Alexander; Sanchéz Jami, Jefferson Rene; Jiménez Jiménez, Diego LeonardoCurrently, technological devices have become indispensable in people's daily lives, significantly streamlining and enhancing their everyday activities. From mobile phones, computers, and wireless headphones to tablets, smart calculators, and the growing use of personal electric transport vehicles like bicycles or scooters, these devices are widely used by students, professionals, and the general public. However, the lack of power outlets in public spaces has created a collective need in society. Additionally, current climate changes are causing disruptions in the power supply, resulting in power outages or blackouts that affect the functionality of these devices. Moreover, a significant portion of the energy consumed comes from non-renewable sources, such as fossil fuels used in thermal power plants, which exacerbates environmental pollution. To address these challenges, the implementation of a pole that converts solar and wind energy into electricity for charging electronic devices is proposed. This initiative would not only provide accessible charging points for these devices but also contribute to improving the quality of life for residents. The development of this project will involve a detailed study of the solar and wind potential in the area, including the sizing of the equipment that will make up the system and the analysis of variables such as wind speed and solar radiation. Finally, the power generated by the system will be estimated, and tests of functionality and autonomy will be conducted to ensure its efficiency and viability.
