    “Plan de negocios para el minimarket “Ariel” ubicado en la ciudad de Quito, parroquia Turubamba”

    The aim of this project is to create a business plan for the minimarket “Ariel” located in the parish of ‘Turubamba’ in order to improve the performance of the business through market, technical, and financial studies. For the market study, a survey was applied to the local residents and customers of the minimarket using the non-probabilistic method, which allowed to know the consumer preferences, the demand, and the percentage of market share for the optimization of its workspace developed the respective technical study which served to evaluate the macro and micro-location of the business and therefore determined the different administrative factors and the redesign of the plant layout, In addition to the total financing of the project including resources, costs, and investment, which were evaluated through financial statements, cash flows, payback period, NPV, IRR, cost-benefit ratio, sensitivity, etc. The positive results were an NPV of 6.479, an IRR of 24%, a cost-benefit ratio of 1.24, and a payback period of two years and seven months. The conclusions of this work indicate that the minimarket should expand the variety of products and adjust its offer to the preferences of customers; it is also essential to improve the distribution of operating space and diversify the use of assets so that it does not depend only on sales and thus can strengthen its financial stability, especially in the face of high sensitivity to changes in income and costs.
