- ItemDesarrollo de un sistema IOT para una cámara de crianza de moscas.(Ecuador: Latacunga: Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi (UTC), 2024-08) Rodríguez Simba, Joel Sebastián; Soto Cuchipe, Neris Humberto; Freire Martínez, Luigi OrlandoThe objective of this technological proposal report was to implement an IoT system through the integration of Node-RED, MySQL Workbench for the monitoring and control of environmental conditions in an experimental fly breeding chamber, identifying the need to improve control and real-time monitoring allowing critical temperature and humidity variables to be adjusted. The developed method included a system made up of sensors and actuators, which are connected to an ESP32 microcontroller, collecting the necessary data in real time and transmitting it to a server via Wi-Fi using the MQTT communication protocol, this data is displayed. in the Node-RED dashboard in which the configuration of alerts and remote control of the variables was carried out. In addition, a database was created that facilitates the storage of the values collected from the experimental chamber by configuring the MySQL node with HTTP communication. The results obtained showed that the proposed IoT system improves the monitoring and control of the variables by reducing the time to adjust the conditions as well as improving the data processing. This technological proposal integrated IoT technology into experimental biology, allowing the optimization of the process and facilitating the collection and analysis of data. The development of the present technological proposal facilitated the continuous monitoring of the controlled environmental variables within the experimental fly breeding chamber, contributing with a substantial value to the field of experimental biology.
