- ItemLa motivación laboral y productividad en las cooperativas de ahorro y credito Financredit y Kisapincha(Ecuador : Latacunga : Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi (UTC), 2024-08) Castro Flores, Jonathan Xavier; Tuapanta Quinfia, Cynthia Eulalia; Suárez Guevara, Iván MarceloThe main aim of this research project is to establish the relationship between work motivation and employee productivity in “Financredit” and “Kisapincha” savings and credit cooperatives. In addition to analyzing the relationship between both variables and proposing effective strategies to improve them. The present study is based on the growing need for credit unions to adapt to a competitive financial environment, where service quality and innovation are essential for their sustainability. Work motivation has been identified as a critical factor influencing employee productivity and its improvement can result in a significant increase in organizational performance. The methodology used is quantitative in approach, the study covered a total population of 154 collaborators, without applying the sampling technique. A questionnaire was employed, which was validated by experts and showed high reliability, with a Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.868 for measuring work motivation and 0.908 for productivity. Regarding work motivation, descriptive statistics showed a mean of 45.69 and a variance of 52.057 with a 95% confidence interval for the mean of motivation was between 44.55 and 46.84. To analyze the relationship between the variables, the correlation coefficient was used, which yielded a value of r = 0.65, indicating a positive and moderate correlation. Furthermore, a chi-square test was applied to evaluate the relationship between these variables, obtaining a value of 1138.72 with a bilateral asymptotic significance of less than 0.001, with the result that the relationship between work motivation and productivity is statistically significant, and to address the weakest aspects identified, a table of strategies will be drawn up to develop and improve these areas, with the aim of further increasing organizational performance.
- Item“Liderazgo organizacional y productividad laboral en los supervisores de las distribuidoras de pollos del cantón Latacunga”(Ecuador : Latacunga : Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi (UTC), 2024-08) Caillagua Cocha, Mirian Marlene; Suárez Guevara, Iván MarceloThe present research seeks to analyze how organizational leadership influences the labor productivity of supervisors in chicken distributors in the canton of Latacunga, detecting that the absence of effective leadership has a negative impact on the performance and satisfaction of employees. To carry out the study, a quantitative approach with a descriptive analysis was applied, focusing on a universe of 57 supervisors, one for each chicken distributor. An instrument previously validated in Osores' research (2020) was used, covering two variables: the first consisted of 10 questions on organizational leadership, with modifications to the original instrument, and the second consisted of 10 questions on productivity, keeping the questionnaire unchanged. Both questionnaires were addressed to supervisors and were assessed using a Likert scale from 1 to 5, where 1 represents ‘never’ and 5 ‘always’, and were administered face-to-face. The results showed a positive perception of leadership, as 70% of the supervisors were willing to address the concerns of their team. In addition, training and the ability to exceed expectations were found to be key factors influencing productivity, underlining the need for supervisors to strengthen these areas. In conclusion, effective organizational leadership is essential to increase productivity in poultry distributors. Therefore, it is recommended to improve leadership training, establish more consistent recognition and feedback systems, and promote continuous training for employees, as these strategies can contribute to boosting team morale, optimizing performance and improving efficiency in the sector.
