Facultad de Ciencias de la Ingeniería y Aplicadas. ndustrial, 2026-10-14) Regalado Egas, Samantha Abigail; Taipe Toapanta, Willian Fernando; Marín Vélez, Diana del CarmenThis degree project aimed to design a Corporate Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Management Manual based on the ISO 45001:2018 standard and integrated with Corporate Social Responsibility principles (ISO 26000:2010) for the flower-growing company Carlita Flowers, located in the province of Cotopaxi. The methodology followed a mixed-methods approach with a descriptive-proposive scope. In the diagnostic phase, the application of a checklist and semi-structured interviews revealed an initial compliance level of 42.31% against the evaluated standards, identifying a normative gap of 57.69% characterized by the absence of formal HIRA matrices, deficiencies in chemical risk management, and the lack of an integrated documentary framework. To address these gaps, preventive guidelines were established, and ISO 26000 principles were prioritized through expert judgment validation and quantitative weighting analysis. As a result, the Corporate Manual was structured under the Deming Cycle (PDCA), encompassing the Integrated Policy, Safe Work Procedures (SWP) for field and post-harvest areas, training programs, standardized forms, and performance indicators. The implementation of this technical and legal tool provides the organization with comprehensive preventive management, aimed at reducing occupational accidents, ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies (MDT and IESS), and promoting sustainable development.
