    “Plan de negocios para la creación de un shampoo a base de romero y cola de caballo para el cantón Latacunga”

    This present entrepreneurial project focused on addressing the problem of the adverse effects of chemical products on the hair health of the inhabitants of Latacunga, such as hair loss and other problems associated with the scalp. Given this situation, the general objective was to create a company dedicated to the manufacture of shampoo based on rosemary and horsetail, aimed at the population of Latacunga canton, to offer a natural and healthy solution. The market study conducted revealed that 91.2% of respondents showed high acceptance of the product, with 59.9% of them focused on improving their hair health, which underlines a clear business opportunity. Regarding the technical study, it was assessed that the installed capacity was adequate to meet local demand, with the possibility of expansion in the future. From the financial perspective, the project presented a Net Present Value (NPV) of $8,956.77 and an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 36%, significantly higher than the Minimum Attractive Rate of Return (MARR) of 10%, which indicated high profitability. In conclusion, the project was considered viable in the short, medium and long term, recommending its implementation to meet local demand for natural and healthy hair products, with the potential to generate sustainable benefits and a positive impact on the community
