- Item“Evaluación de dos formas de obtención de extractos de ruda (ruta graveolens) en agua y alcohol a tres concentraciones para el control de mosca blanca (trialeurodes vaporariorum) en tomate de riñón (solanum lycopersicum l.) en condiciones de laboratorio UTC 2024”(Ecuador : Latacunga : Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi (UTC), 2024-08) Tonato Guishcasho, Jessica Iveth; Chancusig Espín, Edwin MarceloThis research was carried out in the agronomy laboratory of the Cotopaxi Technical University and evaluated the two ways of obtaining extracts of rue (ruta graveolens) in water and alcohol at three concentrations 50%, 75% and 100% for the control of whitefly (trialeurodes vaporiorum) in river tomato (solanum lycopesicum l.), 100% for the control of whitefly (trialeurodes vaaporariorum) in river tomato (solanum lycopesicum l.) to propose alternatives to the problems caused by the whitefly, which is considered one of the main pest that considerably influences the yield of the river tomato crop (solanum lycopesicum l.), causing crop losses and increasing production costs. A Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was used with a factorial arrangement (A*B) experimental unit 20 individuals of (trialeurodes vaaporariorum) were realesead in which the extract of the rue in water and alcohol was applied. Mortality datas was collected by observation from the moment of application, obtaining data at 30, 60 and 90 minutes. In addition, the chemical analysis of the extract of rue in water and alcohol identified the components such as 2-Nonanone, 2- undecanone, and Isomaturnin, which have insecticidal action that attack the nervous system and respiratory system of the insect causing its death. It is conculeded that the extracts of rue in school control (trialeurodes vaaporariorum), in laboratory conditions with an average 13,42% dead individuals and followed by the extract of rue in water with an average od 12,50% dead individuals. The best concentration for white fly control is 100% with 19,62% individuals killed out of 20 flies under study, and in the interaction between extract*concentratiosn, the extract of rue in alcohol presented the best control of white flies at 100% with 19, 67 insividuals killed out of 20 flies in the study.
