After developing this research, it was possible to identify the main problems that limit the academic training in the area of English of the students of the 14 de Octubre school of the La Victoria parish. In this context, this theory is based on the Historical-Cultural conception, since Vigotsky conceives learning as a social activity and not a process of individual realization, by virtue of which this theory is the most successful to direct the present research. In addition, Vigotsky is interested in the study of the formation of cognitive processes by analyzing subjects in both social and cultural activities. In addition, Applied and Descriptive research was used to carry out this work, since current data was collected from students, professors, authorities and professionals of the specialty of English; on the other hand, it was related to the Inductive-Deductive, Descriptive and Scientific methods, with the aim of to detail the true academic training of the students and in turn demonstrate the scientific questions posed through a coherence analysis; To achieve them, techniques such as observation, interview, and survey were applied. After conducting the research, several deficiencies were identified during the Academic Training process: the lack of application of active techniques, the inadequate use of didactic resources, and above all the lack of updating of content and teacher training, therefore; in such circumstances, alternative solutions have been proposed, which will vitalize the process of inter-learning of the English language
