    “Evaluación del comportamiento agronómico de una variedad de trigo harinero (triticum aestivum l.) INIAP y cuatro líneas Promisorias UEB Campus Salache De La Universidad Técnica De Cotopaxi, 2023-2024”

    The purpose of this research was to evaluate agronomic performance of promising lines of flour wheat under the agronomic conditions of Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi, Salache Campus located in province of Cotopaxi, Latacunga Canton, the blooury wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) is the most important agricultural crop in the world and the main source of flour production. A completely randomized block design (CRBD) was implemented with five treatments and three replications in a total area of 54 m2 , a total of 15 experimental units with an area of 3.6 m2 per plot. The promising lines evaluated were H-01-UEB, H-04-UEB, TA-18-008 and TA-20-003, and the improved variety INIAP-IMABABURA 2014 as a control. The evaluated variables were percent emergence, plant vigor, growth habit, days to heading, plant height, straw type, ear size, number of grains per ear, yield (kg ha-1), hectoliter or specific weight (kg hl-1), grain type and color, diseases and viruses, the variables taken were those indicated in the manual N° 111 “Parámetros de Evaluación y Selección en Cereales” this book was published by INIAP in 2019, based on the Zadoks and Cobb scale, the obtained results were analyzed with Shapiro-Wilk normality tests and the Tukey test at 5% for the sources of variations that showed statistical significance to analyze the obtained data. The obtained results show that, from four promising lines and one variety, line TA-20-003 and the promising line INIAP-IMABURA 2014 and the variety H-01-UEB presented an excellent yield in hectoliter weight and greater resistance. The line TA-20-003 presented the best yield with 5890.49 kg ha¹, all the lines and the variety presented a similarity in growth and adjusted to the ideal range in each phenological stage.
