- ItemProposal module to the second level of the program of English language proficiency of the Technical University of Cotopaxi, academic year 2005 - 2006 / (Registro nro. 1886)(Ecuador: Latacunga: Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi:( UTC), 2006-10-02) Chancusig Cadena, Paulina Mercedes; Chiluisa Unapanta, Caremen Ana; Guagchinga Chicaiza, Hilda Graciela; Vízcaino, GloriaThe present investigative work had as general objective to design a module for of the second level of sufficiency in the English language of the UTC that has like base the cultural and environmental socioeconomic context of the Cotopaxi province. The theoretical foundation of the investigation was based on the cultural historical focus in which the learning becomes a social activity. They were also applied as technical of investigation surveys directed to the students, as well as you interview to the educational of the Center of Languages. With those results it was determined that the module at the moment employee doesn't fulfill the mission of the UTC, of forming the cultural identity in the student, since the module approaches information it has more than enough customs of North America. The module designed by the investigators contains activities related with the four abilities, space to develop the writing, vocabulary with its respective definition, grammar of easy assimilation, without forgetting the presentation of graphic full color that it motivate the reader. The module presented a CD with all the listening activities approached in each unit.
