- ItemFactores de bienestar laboral y retención del personal dentro de la empresa de productos carnico maribo “La Madrileña”.(Ecuador: Latacunga: Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi (UTC), 2024-08) Veintimilla Yanchaliquin, Jessica Paulina; Velásquez Chicaiza, Eslendy Nicolle; Roberto Carlos Herrera AlbarracínThe objective of this research was to identify the labor welfare factors that influence the retention of employees within the Maribo Meat Products Company "La Madrileña". The research question that guided this study was: How to strengthen the retention of employees within the Maribo Meat Products Company "La Madrileña"? In order to address this question, a quantitative approach was used with a correlational study to determine the strength of the relationship between the variables of labor welfare factors and the variable of employee retention. The population consisted of 55 employees of the company, who completed a standardized questionnaire, in which the results showed that 44% "Agree" that the factors analyzed contribute to welfare at work. On the other hand, 40% "Strongly Agree" that the organization should take measures to further strengthen employee retention. In order to measure the levels of correlation between the variables, they were analyzed using the SPSS statistical program and Pearson's correlation coefficient. The results showed a positive and significant correlation between the factors of welfare at work and employee retention (-0.647, p<0.00). This indicates that the higher the levels of welfare at work, the better the retention of employees within the organization. In addition, welfare at work factors were identified as having an impact on the retention of employee well-being, such as reward contingent, communication, nature of work and coworkers, which were closely associated with employee retention. Therefore, in order to strengthen the retention of employees, strategies were developed that focused on these dimensions, among which are: compensation system, improvement of internal communication, challenging tasks and human talent management to strengthen organizational commitment and retention through the work environment. Thus, it is important for organizations to strengthen welfare at work, as it contributes to employee retention and, consequently, their job performance.
