    “Propuesta de un plan de mejora continua mediante el ciclo PHVA para el proceso de producción de cubetas de huevos de la Empresa Pulpa Moldeada S.A PULPAMOL”

    The currently research was carried out in the company “PULPA MOLDEADA S.A PULPAMOL”, in the production area for the manufacture of egg buckets. The problem identified lies in the low quality of their products, since the company hasn´t have a continuous improvement plan. This deficiency has increased the probability of employees experiencing poor performance, deficiencies in the production area, and a disorganized work area. Therefore, the study aims to make a proposal for a continuous improvement plan through the PHVA cycle to identify the operational failures faced by the organization, thus allowing the implementation of actions that help achieve competitiveness, efficiency and profitability. The study covered 21 collaborators, which guaranteed a structured survey, various techniques and instruments were applied, such as direct observation of the process, statistical analysis with process control charts. The results showed that the current production process has 25 activities, with an excessive time of 426.18 min to complete the tasks. The continuous improvement plan includes the optimization of plant distribution, the staff training plan and the implementation of controls quality through the NTC 2507 standard. These changes seek to improve employee efficiency, reduce times and production activities to 335.31 min and 21 activities, guaranteeing a higher quality final product.
