Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación frente a la problemática planteada permitió analizar las causas y consecuencias de cómo afecta la autoestima baja en el desarrollo social cognitivo de los niños de la Unidad Educativa “Elia Liut” del nivel inicial, para dar buenos resultados que ayuden al desarrollo de los niños se realizó un programa de capacitación a los padres de familia lo cual les permitió aprender el verdadero significado de educación, autoestima, desarrollo social cognitivo y la valoración que les deben dar los padres a los hijos todos los días valorando cada uno de sus logros, por más pequeños que sean. Se aplicó la metodológica cualitativa y cuantitativa ya que se aplicaron técnicas e instrumentos de evaluación para obtener la recolección de datos de los talleres aplicados de una manera muy adecuada para el desarrollo y aprendizaje de los infantes. Se aplicó una pre- tes a los niños a través de un cuento sobre la familia obteniendo como resultado un 40% de miedo, timidez, inseguridad al momento de hablar del vínculo familiar y en las pos-tes se notó una gran diferencia al 90% la cual los niños se expresaron de una manera muy positiva y seguros de ellos mismos gracias a los talleres aplicados se logró un afecto de padres a hijos, garantizando de forma positiva un desarrollo social cognitivo a los niños.

The present research work in front of the raised problem allowed to analyze the causes and consequences of how low self-esteem affects the cognitive social development of the children of the "Elia Liut" Educational Unit of the initial level, to give good results that help the development of the children, a training program was carried out for parents, which allowed them to learn the true meaning of education, self-esteem, cognitive social development and the assessment that parents should give to their children every day, valuing each of their achievements, no matter how small. The qualitative and quantitative methodology was applied since evaluation techniques and instruments were applied to obtain the data collection of the applied workshops in a very adequate way for the development and learning of infants. A pre-test was applied to the children through a story about the family, obtaining as a result 40% fear, shyness, insecurity when talking about the family bond and in the posts a great difference was noted at 90%. in which the children expressed themselves in a very positive and self-confident way, thanks to the applied workshops, affection was achieved from parents to children, guaranteeing a positive social cognitive development for the children.
